“alex malvehy” is my personal brand under which I publish my projects. As I expected to begin my career shortly, I carried out a rebranding with the aim of differentiating myself and standing out against the competition. All the brand was constructed starting from the concept of the confluence of the digital and real world, environments in which I live and in which the brands I create express seamlessly. This concept was materialized using a mix of pixel and sans serif typefaces, and combining pixel gradients with real images and elements throughout the all the brand applications.

The logotype's typeface (MGN Humble), conveys the concept of confluence between the real and digital world. Its layout also represents the point in which designer and client meet to collaborate.

All the brand applications feature chaotically centered titles and layouts, so as to show a young and creative image. These titles can even overlap subtly with images in more informal environments. Images often include pixelated parts that help to convey the “mix between digital and real” concept further. These resources form a cohesive visual universe that make the alex malvehy brand recognizable, unique and personal.

Regarding the main marketing campaign, I targeted local business owners and entrepreneurs that have a starting project or a small commerce. The main hook “more than a logo” conveys the concept both that any brand can't be reduced to just a simple logotype, but a complete visual universe that makes the brand recognizable with its own personality in every environment; and that my services will offer exactly that, more than a logo.
